Celebrating Unity in Diversity: MEG 17 Graduation Ceremony
MEG 17 was a diverse group of 32 individuals hailing from 21 different countries, collectively speaking around 29 languages. They brought with them a rich array of academic backgrounds, encompassing both social and natural sciences. This diversity is at the core of MEG's identity, fostering an environment where students learn not only from their professors but also from each other's unique perspectives.
The Graduation Ceremony on September 30, 2023, was a blend of heartfelt speeches, celebratory moments, and a dash of fun, making it an unforgettable evening for all in attendance.
The ceremony kicked off with a warm welcome by the hosts, complete with an intriguing explanation of bingo—a playful twist that added a spark of excitement to the proceedings.

The distribution of certificates was divided into three parts, each moment marked with a sense of recognition, accomplishment and pride. As the graduates received their certificates with laugher and big smiles, the audience was treated to MEG statistics, fun facts, and heart-warming photo slides that captured the essence of their academic journey.
Student speeches by Lukas and Zarmina with a dramatic and staged manner added a personal touch to the evening, sharing their unique perspectives and experiences during their time in the program.
A delightful "baby game" added an element of humor to the ceremony, serving as a reminder that while MEG is a serious academic pursuit, it also values the importance of laughter and camaraderie.
The climax of the evening a heartfelt thank-you to all those who had contributed to the success of MEG 17. As the ceremony drew to a close, Charles Obioha, one of the graduating students, concluded with a beautiful poem that left the audience inspired and moved.
