What to do upon arrival in Freiburg in order to ensure a smooth journey ahead!
Registration
You will receive detailed information about registration along with your letter of acceptance. You will be informed about when to register and which documents to bring. It is important that you are registered before the semester begins.
The following documents are required for a successful enrollment:
- Acceptance letter
- Passport and student visa or residence permit
- Proof of health insurance or exemption of health insurance
- Receipt for payment of the registration and the so-called social fee (€ 180)
- Receipt for payment of tuition fees, if applicable (1.500 €)
- Filled-in registration form
- 2 passport photos
- Original or originally certified copies of your first degree (Bachelor), degree certificate and transcripts
- Original or originally certified copies of your language proof
- Your high school degree (simple copy)
Orientation Week
During the Orientation Week (7-11 October 2024) you will be introduced to the programme, have a workshop about communication in an international group,
a workshop about about how to study in Germany and get important information about administrative and organisational aspects of your studies. And of course, you will get to know the MEG Admin Team and your fellow MEG students.
