Teaching Staff
As an interdisciplinary master's programme, its lecturers are drawn from many different faculties and departments at the University of Freiburg, as well as from external research institutes and international partner universities.
Their specialties include political sciences, sociology, philosophy, psychology, technological risk assessment, environmental law, educational sciences, environmental economics, environmental policy analysis, landscape management, hydrology, human geography, natural biology, biochemistry, and ecosystem management.

Programme Committee
The role of the programme committee is to ensure quality and adapt the contents of the MEG. It is accountable to the Dean of the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources. Apart from faculty members, there are external scientists and two student representatives from each generation. The committee is chaired by the Programme Director.
